oUR Story

In The Interest of Others is a local Central New York ministry recently launched to share the love and grace of Christ Jesus within our community. We provide a pathway to meet physical needs and prayerful support for those within our reach. Although we come from different denominations and varied belief systems, we agree that sharing the amazing love and grace of God unites us to bless our community.

In The Interest of Others, Inc is a 501(C)3  faith-based organization offering non-denominational and non-discriminatory assistance to families in need in the suburbs of Syracuse.

Created From:

Philippians 2:4 “…Don’t look out for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.”

Within our community, we will reach out and identify specific needs, both material and spiritual. At the same time, provide opportunities for people to make a difference by meeting those needs, one act of compassion at a time.

Galatians 6:9-10 says “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone-especially to those in the family of faith."

In our communities, the needs are numerous. It is our goal and privilege to reach out to local community centers, schools, doctors offices, and other entities to see what the needs are in the community and how to best help meet those needs. It is here that we will be able to first show the love of Christ and then share His love with others. This is the hands and feet showing God’s love In The Interest of Others.
